They actually started moving the house last week. It took them 4 hours to move it 17 miles. Then it sat on our gravel road from Thursday morning until Monday morning. What a pain in the butt! So, they moved it down to the lot that they are putting it on on Monday... but it is still sitting in the middle of the road. People are having to drive in part of our yard in order to get around it.... needless to say Gary and I are not happy about that. Here are a few pics of the house once they got it moved across the street. The guy moving it says they have to turn it 180* to put it on the foundation....what the??? Glad I don't have his job.

So, hopefully when I get home tonight there will no longer be a house in the middle of the road.

Well I do have to say "that is just not right!" I cant say I have every had a house literaly move in so close by.
Great pictures of it though. I am so jealous about your garden! I didnt mess with one this year and kinda glad I didnt. I dont know if you know but I started a new job and I work here in town now, It is the best!! Love and miss ya
